I went on a tour of Oakland Cemetery a few weeks back. It's been a while since I visited the cemetery, and had completely forgotten that one of my favorite spots in Atlanta is just beside it. Right beside the parking lot, there's a garden patch that's about half a block wide, and it's filled with all kinds of wildflowers and grasses. It's beautiful at any time of day, but it's particularly magical at sunset. I walked through the garden for just a couple minutes to snap a few photos, and as you'll see, even for just a brief moment, it's the perfect place to escape the city.
A hub for all things to do with design, furniture painting, photography, style, event planning [and some foodie bits for good measure].
