- 1 happy girl!
Keeping up a blog is a practice in patience and consistency. Patience because it takes time to write and create content and build a following. Consistency because it's not something you can just work on every now and again. A blog will only do its job if it's managed on a daily basis and the content is focused and engaging each day.
I'm working each day on my patience and consistency. I know that this won't be a major success story overnight and I'm completely okay with that. I'm passionate about every last detail that goes into this site and everything I write and photograph. I could spend all day working on the blog [and some days I do!] but I've found myself getting better at carving out a specific window of time each day to focus my attention on it, which is something I hadn't done in the past. I'm happy to say that with a few exceptions, I've been able to post daily [excluding Saturdays and Sundays- everybody needs a day or two off!] and I want to keep this streak going for as long as I can, without the quality of what I post suffering.
My friends and family have been an amazing support system in checking out the blog each day, and the sheer expanse of states and countries that have viewed the site is just amazing! I hope to keep my momentum going and only improve each day.
I recently took a blogging/photoshop course and feel that has made all the difference in inspiring me to make more focused, professionally designed content. It will take some time for me to quicken my pace and put out polished content daily, but I can see the change in my work and I aspire to do better.
Thank you again for supporting me and please share my site [and my Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook!] with your family, friends and colleagues, or anyone who you think might benefit or have an interest in what I share. It really means the world to me!
