The Traveler's Dinner

Don't get me wrong: I LOVE eating out! There's no better way to experience a new country or city. But eating out every single day and night can exhaust even the staunchest foodie, and this one is no exception.  When I've had a long day of exploring and all I can muster is putting my feet up in exhaustion, there's a go to dinner that never fails.

I call it 'the traveler's dinner' because anyone, whether you're in a hotel or an AirBnb [like me!], this meal can be thrown together in a pinch and satisfies every time. Since I do have a kitchen in this flat, we made our own butter and garlic toasts as an extra touch, but any good crackers from the nearby grocer will work just fine.  Good wine is essential, and this one came from our visit to a very 'posh' department store, Selfridges, which happens to have an impeccable wine selection!  Now tell me you wouldn't want to sit and relax after a long day of walking and tourist-ing to this delicious spread.  Mmmm...
