I'm a Turquoise Girl in a Mid Century World

Super quick and dirty furniture post for your Monday morning.  As you read this, I'm likely at the courthouse for my yearly obligatory jury attendance. This is a busy week, so I could have maybe preferred to have this happen ANY other time of the year, but such is life. I didn't have time to take the most fabulous photos of this dresser.

I'm bringing this guy over to the new studio this week and I plan on doing him justice with a proper photoshoot then.

But in the meantime, I wanted to share a few quick shots of this piece.  I was going for a minty green-blue, but it reads both mint and blue depending on the lighting.

Either way, I wanted to go with a bright color that worked with this dresser's mid century style, while also making sure to accentuate the original wood legs [just about the only part that was still in great shape].

I'll post this dresser for sale soon enough, but for now, back to my civic duties! I'll get back to focusing on my furniture/blog duties soon enough.
