Keeping it simple: graphite dresser

Yes, another late night post for me.  I had a busy day of sales, since Atlanta likes to cut the workday short [or cancel it entirely!] when there's maybe-sort of-almost a possibility of snow in the forecast.  So everyone who normally would be at their 9 to 5 today instead was in the furniture buying mood [which is completely fine by me!].

In other news, I just finished two dressers [yesterday's white dresser] and this graphite number.  It's a simple dresser, no fancy carvings or anything like that. But it's a great skinny storage piece, and I distressed it so the warm wood tones would act as a highlight against this dark charcoal-black-blue-gray [yes, it's all those colors]. The vintage hardware is also a nice touch, and gives this piece a vintage-industrial flare. I posted it on Craigslist, and will get it into the shop shortly, but I can see this working as a console table behind a sofa, as a dresser in a boys room, or a smaller guest room, or even as a piece to place in your entry. Come visit me at the studio [at Ponce City Market] so you can see all the pieces I have for sale!
