Okay...so perhaps purple hasn't been my favorite color in a good 20 years [ouch that makes me feel OLD], but I do find myself still drawn to purple on occasion. Before my friend Valarie of Dear Ondine moved to Nantucket, MA, she shot a series of photos at my studio for her newly launched website! I thought I'd share some shots from this perfectly purple-centric shoot. All the flowers are from Trader Joe's [TJ's is AWESOME for affordable flowers, FYI]. If anyone knows what sort of flowers are in the mason jars, I'd love to know! I've had them for a week now and they still look so fresh! [so fresh n so clean clean]
We also snacked on my favorite flaxseed tortilla chips and my new salsa obsession [pick up their Double Roasted Salsa next time you're there!]. Not sure why I'm talking about snacks. [I think I may need to eat] Back to the shoot...I adore her violet calligraphy [in her Elizabeth Bennett style] on a lilac envelope. My favorite touch is also the coarse twine I used to wrap the bouquet. Such great texture and this whole shoot was so lovely all around!
