Five Go-To Juice Recipes

It's been a while since I've talked about juicing on here! Sadly, my juicer was having some problems for a while. I thought I'd broken it entirely, but after several times of fiddling around with it, I got it working again [yay!]. Lately, these are my go-to juice recipes. Part of me likes drinking juices in different colors because of the variety of healthy nutrients, but mostly it's because they just look so pretty in my fridge. If only I were joking...

The juice I had for breakfast this morning [shown in the glass] is surprisingly delicious. I found this one on the three day cleanse found on this site.

  • 2 Beets
  • 6 carrots
  • 2 apples
  • 1/2 bunch of kale [about 7-8 leaves]
  • 2" piece of ginger

Makes 1-2 servings

For a true 'green juice' I'm really liking this recipe:

  • 2 apples
  • 1/2 bunch kale leaves
  • 5 romaine lettuce leaves
  • small bunch parsley leaves
  • 1/2 lime

Makes 1-2 servings

For a sweeter juice [good for a mid morning or mid afternoon snack]:

  • 2 cups chopped fresh pineapple
  • 5-6 leaves of romaine lettuce
  • 1.5 limes

Makes 2-3 servings

The orange juice is above and beyond my favorite drink and I've talked about it before

  • 2 apples
  • 4 carrots
  • 1" piece of ginger

Makes 2 servings

The last juice is beet based [if you couldn't tell by the deep magenta color!]. I'm usually not a big fan of beets in juices, but this one is REALLY tasty!

  • 2.5 small beets
  • 2 cups fresh pineapple
  • 1" piece ginger

makes 2 servings
